About Us

UTM Fastpitch is a prominent softball organization based in Canada, specifically focused on the development and promotion of fastpitch. UTM stands for "Up the Middle" which is a reference to the original website blog from which the organization was initally formed. 

Overview

• FOCUS: Female Fastpitch. We provide opportunities for athletes at various skill levels to develop their skills and compete in league and tournaments, to gain exposure to higher levels of play.
• PROGRAMS: We offer a range of programs, which include development clinics, competitive teams. tournaments & showcase events. Our programs are designed to help athletes improve their skills, gain valuable game experience, and potentially attract attention from Canadian and US college coaches.
• TOURNAMENTS: Our organization hosts and our teams participate in numerous tournaments each year. Our events attract teams from across Ontario, Quebec, & NY state.
• COMMUNITY: We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and inclusive community. We aim to create an enviroment where athletes can grow both on and off the field of play. We emphasize sportsmanship, fair play, teamwork and personal development.

UTM has been a proud supporter of softball since 2015. We have fielded several Ontario provincial champions, and have also had teams perform well at Canadian Nationals. UTM is committed to growing the sport, and has started working with local house league and select programs to help train future softball players with the basic skills needed to play the game at a higher caliber.

UTM is a non-profit entity. UTM tournaments fundraise for our affiliate teams, and our community partners in the OUS, OCAA and across Ontario.
