Rain Cancels Day 2 of UTM Teddy Bear

Rain hit Stratford at around 11:15 on Sunday and hit hard, forcing the cancellation of all playoff games at the U11 Teddy Bear Tournament. Unfortunate timing as the event was just beginning the playdowns for the three championships. With the postponement the following teams were credited with 1st and 2nd place finishes:

UTM Fastpitch is an incorporated non-profit minor sports group with the ability to operate across Canada. UTM (Up the Middle) was created in 2016 to offer new opportunities to young women seeking to play the sport of softball at a high level. Since our launch we have fielded over 25 teams, and developed partner programs in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. All UTM teams are expected to adhere to the governance provided by Softball Canada, and any provincial governing body where they are located. UTM provides tournaments in Ontario offering various age groups the chance to experience a great weekend of tournament ball.
