Power Rankings - July 14

UTM NEXT LEVEL U Power Rankings for the week of July 14 are now posted. We have U15& U17 Canadian Qualifer events this weekend, as well as U19 Tier 1 provincials, and U19 Tier 2 Qualifiers.

FAQ:

Q: How do you determine the rankings each week?

A: We try and review tournament results (within Ontario where possible), league play, and feedback from coaches and peers.

Q: Why isn't my team ranked? Or why is someone ranked higher?

A: This isn't an exact science. Perhaps some day we get to a point where across the province all associations work together to consistently post results. However for now these rankings are meant to be fun, and create some excitement for all teams. Always remember if you feel your team isn't being credited for their great play reach out to us, with examples of why and we will review and determine whether things need to be adjusted week to week.

Q: Why are there no U11 or U13 rankings?

A: We do not feel at these age categories that it is prudent to rank teams. These years all teams should be focusing on development of fundamental softball skills.

Q: When will the college/university rankings start again?

A: These are slated to get published once again at the end of August.

Q: Who is UTM Fastpitch?

A: UTM is a softball association that operates teams in Canada. We have partnerships with several clubs across the country. Within Ontario UTM operates 6 teams for the 2023/2024 season. Please check out our website for more details on UTM Fastpitch.
