DURHAM U16

Our Durham U16 team remains a very tight-nit group. We are proud of this affiliate being able to retain all returning players for the 2020/2021 season. This group will compete at the U16 Tier 2 level in the summer of 2021. The team is excited to get some fall pod games under their belt this month. The team is based in the Whitby-Oshawa-Ajax region

HISTORY

• The core of this team developed together under the Whitby Lightning Select program. Not afforded the opportunity to play at the rep level under existing organizations the leaders of this program reached out to UTM via their connection to some of the leaders with our U19 Eastern Ontario program'
• A successful 2020 season of training & bonding allowed the team to carry forward their roster into the 2020/2021 season
