HISTORY

  • The Southern Alberta (SA) Revolution Softball club rose from the fire and ashes in the fall of 2019 after coming off two successful seasons together as a core group. Today we are proudly affiliated with the Drumheller Girls Softball Association - "Home of Pure Venom".
  • This group first met and started playing together in the fall of 2017 along with the current SA Revolution coaching staff. Since that time, we have solidified our club with the addition of four amazing athletes and we are now twelve strong heading into the 2021 season.
  • These young women have their sights set on many years of friendship and success together in the coming seasons.  Through months and years of practice and hard work, the athletes of SA Revolution share a special bond and friendship and are extremely motivated to compete at the highest level.
  • The SA Revolution program identifies itself with some basic core values; the most important of those is being a good teammate and being an even better person.
  • We pride ourselves on hard work and good attitudes and we are always willing to give back to our community through volunteering and humanitarian efforts. We want to “Revolutionize” the way softball teams train, compete and develop athletes.
  • We believe in encouraging and empowering confident young women in sport, academics and life with a heavy focus on mental training and failure recovery.
  • SA Revolution has a special focus on anti-bullying which is near and dear to our hearts and we have been advocates and supporters of the Dare to Care program and its’ mission to “changing and saving lives”.
  • The success of our group over the past three years is a direct result of the passion and hard work these amazing women share and their continued focus to be the best they can for each other and their team.
  • SA Revolution is extremely proud to be a partner of UTM Fastpitch Canada and look forward to many years of success for both organizations and all their membership teams.
