UTM U16 Tier 1 Programs

(Waterloo, ON) September 1st is now here, we've put together a quick summary of where and when UTM teams will be holding their 2019/2020 tryouts. To all athletes, parents about to head to one or more associations looking for a good fit for you, we wish you all the very best. To UTM players who will be looking for new opportunities, we thank you for being part of the Revolution and hope you continue playing the game as long as you can! To new players coming to a new team for the first time, we thank you for considering us and we shall make it our goal to show you what we're all about!

This season we once again have teams at the U16 & U19 level... however we have a few more locations this year then ever before. This is now our 5th fall for tryouts, and it shapes up to be the biggest and best ever. We are excited about our potential growth and we will do our best to work with our affiliate leaders to fill their rosters as soon as possible, as we know several want to play some ball in September and beyond. Here is a look at our Tier 1 programs

U16 Tier 1

UTM 2K4 - returns off of their appearance at 2019 Nationals in Calgary. Led by Jason Shackell, this group is poised to be a contender once again at the provincial level, and will look to make their second straight appearance at Nationals. This team will be looking for players at all positions this fall. 2K4 isn't specifically focused on one geographic area, and would enterain players from across Ontario. September 2 5:30 Drumbo Park

UTM GTA North - is a new affiliate who will be based in the Vaughan/Caledon region in 2019. This team will be led by Mike Barber and Andrew Crockett. A new affiliate with some exciting travel plans this fall, as well as some new and innovative ways to evaluate players skills will be used as part of the tryout process. Tryouts will be held in Caledon, but the final home for this program will be somewhat influenced by where the bulk of the athletes come from. This group will be looking for 2004 & 2005 athletes. September 2 6:30 Sid Coburn Park, Caledon

UTM Windsor - another new affiliate is launching in Windsor/Essex and will be led by Shawn Schramm. This program will play a heavy fall schedule and will continue to play many US events into the spring/summer of 2020. The program however is committed to attending the National Qualifier and PWSA Provincial championships. Similar to our other programs this group will also be looking for 2004 & 2005 athletes. September 2 11AM Patrick Maguire Park, Windsor ON
