Softball Skills Camp Eastern Ontario

The Softball Skills Camp is being launched this fall/winter to provide families with local options for improving their softball skills & performance on the field. The camp will deliver training in areas of demand locally in the Eastern Ontario Region. The goal of the Softball Skills Camp is to raise the level of play in Eastern Ontario by providing quality instruction to players of all ages and skill levels. The camp will also invite a number of current and future coaches to join these sessions to learn new techniques under the guidance of qualified instructors. These skills can then be transferred to more and more players at practice during the off-season, and into the 2019 campaign.

The Softball Skills Camp believes that providing strong local softball teams requires a focus on the development of young players. The camp provides a mini-camp for the registered players prior to attending the competitive sessions. During the intro sessions, fundamental skills will be focused on, but also the camp will aim to create a fundamental love for the game in all that attend. The training program will focus on hitting, defensive skills, conditioning and guest speakers.
